St. Andrew Creative | Admin Assistant

Under the direct supervision of the Creative and Communications Director, this position provides administrative and secretarial support for the Creative and Communications Director and St. Andrew Creative ministry departments, as well as all associated groups. St. Andrew Creative is the in-house brand, communications and media agency for a large local church.

This position is part-timer at 25 hours/week.

1. Provide administrative support for St. Andrew Creative, including calendaring, tracking projects, scheduling meetings, and general support for projects and tasks. This sometimes requires confidentiality when handling sensitive congregational information.
2. Help ministry partners track project needs and serve as a primary point of contact on new requests.
3. Gather information, assign tasks to Creative team member(s), and ensure deadlines are met for final publication using internal project management software.
4. Keep project management software updated to reflect roles, task information and deadlines.
5. Work with St. Andrew Creative team members to ensure all tasks run smoothly and meet deadlines.
6. As needed, provide administrative support for media production needs. This may include but is not limited to script development, shoot schedules, transcription service coordination and captioning for publication.
7. As needed, provide administrative support for communications production needs. This may include but is not limited to production and distribution of print materials around campus and online.
8. Submit monthly expense reports and schedules meetings for Creative Director as well as other financial record keeping.

Family Ministry | Childcare Provider

Love children? Join our team! We are seeking individuals who enjoy interacting with children, working in a church environment and have a positive attitude. The applicant will provide a safe and loving environment for children ages 5 and under on Sundays, 9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Additional hours are available during the week during summer months. The childcare giver must be a team player, put the safety of the children first and have good communication skills to interact with parents of the children and other staff members.  

Qualifications: Loving, compassionate, dependable, kind, respectful, attentive, joyful, and has a calm spirit. Previous experience working with children a plus. Please send resumes to dweaver@standrewumc.org.
